Greenville Young Adults Living Life is about connecting people to other young adults, the community, and God. It's not just a group for people to come and hang out with (although, don't get us wrong, we do enjoy hanging out and building friendships). It's for people who are tired of just existing, just doing life. We're about living life to the fullest!

So this month, Greenville YALL wants to connect with the community and other young adults by sending six care packages to local college students who are in need of a little encouragement. But we can't do that on our own. We need people in the local community, the US, and the World who may know a student at North Greenville University, Furman University, and Bob Jones University that could use some encouragement to email us - by 5pm on January 26th - their name, school, and email or phone number, along with a paragraph describing why that student deserves a care package. One guy and girl will be chosen from each school that night at the YALL community group and the care packages will be delivered within the following two weeks. Please email nominations to info@offthecoast.org. If you have any questions, please email Tory Almond at tory@offthecoast.org or call 864.354.4864.

We are also in need of gift cards, goods, and money to put the care packages together. If you or your business would be interested in donating toward the six care packages, please contact Tory Almond at tory@offthecoast.org or call 864.354.4864. Off The Coast Ministries is a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductable.

Sunday a small group of us gathered around the Cargo container as we lifted our voices and request to Jesus. As we prayed for the project- we not only prayed for the financial concerns and the materials needed but also for the lives of those effected by this effort. We prayed for the city of Greenville, that we would come together as one and really be the hands and feet of Christ. To impact a local community but also a community that is located on the other side of the world.

It is our hope that we would not be a society that is so apathetic but people who really do care about others and really do want to make a difference.

I ask you all to join us in prayer for the “Greenville Cargo” project. That lives would be changed, funds be raised, materials donated…but most importantly that Christ be glorified in all we do. This project is not for us to pat ourselves on the back or to add something else to the “list” of things our ministry is apart of…but this is about bringing glory and honor to Jesus and helping a community in need.
