Sunday a small group of us gathered around the Cargo container as we lifted our voices and request to Jesus. As we prayed for the project- we not only prayed for the financial concerns and the materials needed but also for the lives of those effected by this effort. We prayed for the city of Greenville, that we would come together as one and really be the hands and feet of Christ. To impact a local community but also a community that is located on the other side of the world.

It is our hope that we would not be a society that is so apathetic but people who really do care about others and really do want to make a difference.

I ask you all to join us in prayer for the “Greenville Cargo” project. That lives would be changed, funds be raised, materials donated…but most importantly that Christ be glorified in all we do. This project is not for us to pat ourselves on the back or to add something else to the “list” of things our ministry is apart of…but this is about bringing glory and honor to Jesus and helping a community in need.

Well Saturday the framing process begun on the Greenville Cargo project. Progress was made thanks to the volunteers who were able to show up and lend a hand. We were blessed to have two carpenters by trade helping us with this task along with others who swung some hammers and cut lumber for the construction. By the end of the workday framing for one side of the container along with the ceiling were completed!

It has been awesome witnessing the transformation already with this container. We can’t wait until the next workday where we hope more of you will come on out and be apart of this amazing project. Please tell your friends, co-workers and family members on how they too can be apart of this.

Help us “Ship Dreams to South Africa” by creating this daycare center for children in need!
